25” CLOSE MOUTH GLASS EYED SOLID DOME TURNED SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. Incised “639,” “11.” Attributed to ABG, on leather body with gussets at the knees, jointed at the shoulders elbows, and hips, with bisque forearms. She has lovely pale blue threaded paperweight eyes, nicely feathered eyebrows, slight smile, redressed in ice blue dress with small white polka-dots, black ribbon sash waist, fancy lace and ribbon trim with elaborate black beading. Wig is brown human hair with corkscrew curls topped by a hat of black beadwork, navy blue ribbon, and blue feathers. CONDITION: Good quality bisque, minor scuffing to left cheek, repair to gusset at right knee. RS 1-3564 (1,000-1,500)
