21-1/2″ RARE JUMEAU BEBE. 1880s early Jumeau with head incised “10 (over) EJ” with body stamped in blue “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS”. She has lovely blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with well modeled, applied ears, and on the original wooden composition body with 8 separate ball joints, and straight wrists with oversized hands. She is wearing what could be her original blond mohair wig, a white cotton and lace dress and pink canvas French shoes with soles impressed “10 PARIS” with the logo of a bee. SIZE: 21-1/2″ (52cm). CONDITION: Excellent, slight typical paint wear on body. 1-9325 (11,000-13,000)
