LOT OF TWO GERMAN BISQUE SHOULDER HEAD DOLLS. (1) 21” glass eye closed mouth turned shoulder head doll is incised “L,” attributed to Kestner. She is on a leather body jointed at hips and gusseted at the knee, with cloth lower legs, and bisque forearms. Dressed in a cream colored satin dress with green velvet overskirt and collar, wearing a honey colored wig over plaster pate. (2) 22” stationary glass eye doll has open mouth with four upper teeth and no markings. On gusseted leather body with bisque forearms, this doll features an emerald green dress with black and white lace overskirt, auburn human hair wig, and antique (later) oilcloth shoes. CONDITION: Bisque is very good, normal wear to leather bodies.
