LAMINATED ROSEWOOD CARVED ARMCHAIR ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN HENRY BELTER, N.Y.C. Unknown pattern has shaped upholstered cushion surrounded by a hoop style frame with pierced floral and leaf carving, which extends from the back of the chair along the open side. Cushioned arms and large cushioned seat. Central seat rail as opposing C-scrolls, carved arms ending in short French cabriole legs all resting on four brass caster feet. Fine upholstery in a cream background with colorful flowers in rust and gold. SIZE: 39” h x 17” seat h x 25” across front. CONDITION: One back leg has repair with screw.
