21” CLOSE MOUTH TURNED SHOULDER HEAD INCISED “MADE IN GERMANY” Attributed to Kestner. On white leather body with gussets at the knees and jointed at the shoulders with metal pins, has bisque forearms jointed at the elbows. She has pale blue glass sleep eyes, redressed as an 1890’s lady in a chocolate brown taffeta skirt and shirtwaist. Antique undergarments, old leather shoes impressed “CC,” with one heel missing, brown wig over original plaster pate, wearing a metallic brown hat decorated with cloth flowers and brown feathers. CONDITION: Very minor color rubs to left cheek, also several pitting marks on right shoulder; otherwise in very good condition. RS 1-3583 (300-600)
