GALLE MARQUETRY FLORAL VASE. Very pretty Galle marquetry vase has a clear neck shading to a green body and amber near the foot. Vase is decorated with a white marquetry flower with a green marquetry stem extending up the neck to a cream colored marquetry bud. Flower petals have nicely detailed wheel-carving. Vase is signed on the side with engraved Oriental style signature “Galle”. Vase also carries remnants of what appears to be an original paper label, most likely from the retailer. SIZE: 10″ t.
