NORTH MODEL 1808 NAVY FLINTLOCK MARTIAL PISTOL. NSN. Cal. 66. 10-1/8” rnd bbl. Marked “S·NORTH / BERLIN / CONN.” vertically at the rear of the lockplate, with an eagle over “U.STATES.” in front of the hammer. There is a belt hook on the left side, held in place by the rear lock screw. There are no inspector marks or cartouches. The lock is a good reconversion using some old parts. Ramrod and belt hook are replacements. CONDITION: Brown patina overall, with light surface rust and pitting. Wood has cracks below the lock plate and at the rear bbl pin. Minor chips elsewhere. Stock has been repaired and sanded. Mechanically good. 8-76151 FS30 (5,000-8,000)
