*OUTSTANDING L.C. SMITH EAGLE GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN RE91264. Cal. 12 ga. 32″ bbls, matted tapered vent rib with sgl brass sighting bead. Chamber area on top of right bbl marked “L.C. SMITH EAGLE GRADE”. and left “HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M’F’R’S FULTON N.Y.U.S.A”, 2-3/4″ chambers, FULL/FULL chokes, ejectors, and Hunter One selective sgl trigger. This regular frame is engraved with standard Eagle grade engraving of pheasant in flight on left plate with open scroll surrounding, right plate has duck in flight, the front tab of both plates are engraved “L.C. SMITH”. Mounted with flame grain walnut, checkered pistol grip with black hard rubber grip cap, 1″ Silvers type recoil pad, fully checkered beavertail forend with banjo escutcheon. Bore diameter: left -.726, right -.727. Bore restrictions: left -.037, right -.038. Wall thickness: left -.031, right -.026. Drop at heel: 2-13/16, drop at comb 1-5/8″: . Weight: 8lbs. 6oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain nearly all their fine factory rust blue with just a few very minor nicks & scratches and faint rub on bottom from forend. Receiver retains nearly all of its fine orig case colors. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, only a couple minor handling marks and retains most of a fine hand rubbed finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains most of a fine hand rubbed finish.
