OUTSTANDING PAIR OF STERLING COVERED SERVING DISHES BY TIFFANY & CO. Bottom marked “Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver” with “6045 3358 M”. The mark corresponds to items made between 1869-1891. Both pieces are inscribed with presentation “From John D. & Alice R. Wood Augt. 31st 1882”. The bottom part in shaped oval form with two end handles. Sides with decorative band of flowers with similar rim band. The top lids having fixed top handle decorated with flowers and similar band as bottom. A very fancy monogram is on side. Total weight: 110 tr.oz. SIZE: 5” h x 13-1/2” l x 7-1/2” w. CONDITION: Very good. Some minor small dents in base. 9-99616 (3,000-5,000)
