CARVED HINDU FEMALE FIGURE. Probably 19th century. Carved in pine from the solid, this polychrome-painted carved figure of a seated robed female with floral headdress, bindi and necklace. SIZE: 32-1/2″ h. x 25-1/2″ w. x 19-1/2″ d. CONDITION: With weathered and faded surfaces; the hands, once attached with dowels, now absent. Otherwise structurally good. 9-95441 (1,000-1,500)
