*A BROWNING GRADE 3 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE Cal. 22LR. SN 73T70609. Beautiful little John Browning Patent 22 with 19-1/2″ tapered rnd bbl with dovetailed brass bead front sight. No rear sight with a Weaver scope base and rings containing a Redfield 4X scope. Receiver is French Gray finished with large vignettes of a setter & 3 pheasants in a field scene on the left side, a setter & 3 ducks in a marsh scene on the right side and a spaniel holding a dead duck on the top. All surrounded by extremely beautiful foliate, floral & vine arabesque patterns. Signed on the right side “L. LAMBERT”. It is mounted with extremely beautiful, exhibition quality, French walnut with skip line checkered forearm and pistol grip stock 13-7/8″ over a serrated metal butt plate. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Metal retains virtually all of it orig factory finish & wood most of its factory varnish with a couple of small chips on the edge of the pistol grips and minor handling mars in the varnish.
