REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP. Very nice reverse painted shade depicts log mill alongside stream surrounded by trees with mountains and lake in the background. The mill scene is done in rich colors of brown, orange and green against a yellow to orange background. Shade rests atop a cast metal base with impressed flowers, leaves and stems winding their way up a vertically ribbed stem. Base supports a two light socket and is finished with a golden bronze patina. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: Shade is 15-3/4″ dia. Overall height is 21-1/2″. CONDITION: Some minor chips to fitter of shade and minor wear to finish on base, otherwise very good to excellent. 9-28754 (500-1000)
