J. HOLLIS WYMAN’S SENATE DESK AND CHAIR. One drawer desk has document compartments on right side, open kneehole and an attached angled shelf on top. Back brass plaque number “22”. Green upholstered swivel chair with turned posts under scrolled arms and wood legs with brass cupped caster feet. Front of the desk has full columns with carved capitals and a decorative molded panel. A true bit of Maine history! PROVENANCE: The J. Hollis Wyman Estate, Milbridge, Maine (State Senator and Wild Blueberry King). SIZE: Overall is 38-1/2” h x 28-1/2” w x 20-1/2” d. Chair is 33-1/2” h x 22-1/2” across arms x 17” seat h.
