HANDEL METAL OVERLAY LAMP. Wonderful Handel bent panel lamp shade has carmel slag bent panels with border panels of variegated blue, red, green and purple glass. Metal overlay on border is scenes of trees and fences. Signed on fitter rim “Handel Lamps”. Shade rests atop a round bent panel interior lighted lamp base. Base has bent panels of variegated of blue, pink, purple and yellow glass inside a metal filigree frame. Lamp has two light cluster and is topped with original Handel cap. We do not believe the base to be Handel. SIZE: Shade is 15″ dia at widest. Overall height 21-1/2″. CONDITION: Shade has one cracked border panel, one bent panel has small crack at bottom corner, shade frame has been broken and re-soldered in several places. The base is missing underplate and has some wear to finish. 8-87174 (2,000-3,000)
