*DELUXE ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 63 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. SN 132942. Usual configuration with 23″ tapered rnd bbl, standard sights with slab sawn American walnut wood with checkered forearm & semi-pistol grip stock, 13-3/8″ over a checkered steel buttplate. Receiver is engraved in Winchester patterns consisting of a large vignette with three rabbits on left side & two squirrels on right side surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns with stippled background. Top of receiver & chamber area of bbls have light foliate arabesque patterns. Left vignette is signed “LC”. This cataloguer is not acquainted with this engraver & therefore we cannot guarantee that this is factory work. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears to be unfired, retains virtually all of its fine custom finish to both metal & wood with no discernable flaws. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-55451 JR96 (1,500-2,500)
