12 1/2” SOLID DOME CLOSE MOUTH BISQUE SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. Unmarked doll with deep shoulder indentation at neck to imitate realistic female bust line. An all leather gusseted body with bisque forearms, this doll has a very delicate childlike look with blue paperweight eyes, blond feathered eyebrows, bee-stung lips, and a blond mohair wig tied in a bun in the back. Gray-blue silk skirt and shirtwaist have elaborate lace and brocade decoration, a strawberry colored straw hat with cloth flowers and ribbon, and antique white cloth shoes with leather soles impressed “2/0.” CONDITION: Excellent quality pale bisque, no damage to bisque forearms, body clean and sturdy.
