HANDEL KNIGHT TABLE LAMP. Handel table lamp has shade with four reverse and obverse painted panels, two opposing panels feature a knight in armor on a rearing horse. The other opposing panels have braided trim design with half-circle stylized leaf design corners. Shade sets atop Handel base with step design foot, turned stem and double sockets and finial of hand holding a ring with swan’s head. Base is signed with applied “Handel” tags on sockets. SIZE: Shade is 14” across. Overall height is 22-3/4”. CONDITION: One panel with knight and one side panel are undamaged, the other two panels have several cracks, but are intact. Base shows some discoloration in patina and has been rewired. 5-68675 (700-1,000)
