26″ JUMEAU E.J.A. FRENCH BEBE. A truly outstanding example of a rare and highly sought after French Bebe produced by the Jumeau firm in the latter part of the 19th century. Pale flawless bisque with delicate mauve eye shadowing, threaded amber paperweight eyes and a well molded mouth with distinctive highlighting make this bebe a must have for any serious collector of French dolls. Marked on rear of head EJA # 10 she is on the proper straight wristed Jumeau composition body. Dressed in the typical Jumeau floral cotton print dress, human hair wig and marked Jumeau black leather shoes w/brown ribbon florets. SIZE: 26″ h. CONDITION: Bisque appears to be free of any damage, minimal wear to composition body (fingertips & joints). 1-9439 (17,500-22,500)
