*PARKER BROTHERS GH GRADE DAMASCUS BARREL SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 176793. Cal. 10 ga. 32″ Damascus steel bbls, matted tapered concave rib, dual brass sighting bead, 3″ chambers, MOD/FULL choke, extractors and dbl triggers. Top rib of bbl is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDAN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL”. The second sighting bead is located 3/4″ from the breech end. The “3” frame is standard “G” grade engraved with minimal decorative scroll and oval with 2 ducks in flight and “PARKER BROS.” on top on left side, 2 game birds and “PARKER BROS.” on right side and circle on trigger plate with 2 game birds. Mounted in nicely figured flame grain walnut, raised side panels, checkered pistol grip with Parker Brothers hard rubber gripcap, Parker Brothers dog head hard rubber buttplate, gold initial shield with unidentified engraving, and checkered splinter forend. This number is not found in the book Parker Gun Identification & Serialization. Bore diameter: left -.780, right -.780. Bore restrictions: left -.040, right -.025. Wall thickness: left -.060, right -.058. Drop at heel: 3-3/8″, drop at comb: 2″. Weight: 10lbs. 8oz. LOP 14-15/16″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain strong gray Damascus pattern with normal minor nicks & scratches and brighter under protection of forearm. Frame retains strong orig case colors on side and protected areas with balance blending a gray patina. Trigger guard has flaked and worn to a brown/silver patina. Stock is sound with slightly worn checkering, normal minor nicks & dings and retains orig finish with a thin coat of added finish blending with hand worn patina. Forend is sound with slightly worn checkering, minor nicks & dings, orig finish with a thin coat of added finish.
