*LATVIAN CONTRACT 1938 MAUSER BANNER LUGER. Cal. 30 Luger. SN 5091v. Usual configuration with 3-7/8” bbl, “1938” chamber date with Mauser banner toggle marking. It has front & rear sights, with only a crown “U” proof on the left side of the receiver. It has full checkered walnut grips & an unnumbered aluminum base magazine with an eagle “53” proof. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All matching including the grips. Retains virtually all its fine original rust blue and most of its original straw colors. Grips are very fine, with light diamond point wear, the magazine has light pitting, otherwise is fine. Mechanics are fine; brilliant shiny bore. 4-51037 JR687 (3,000-5,000)
