TWO CONTEMPORARY ST. LOUIS PAPERWEIGHTS. 1) King St. Louis sulphide paperweight. Sulphide is surrounded by a garland of yellow and red millefiori canes. It has five side facets and one top facet. Signed on the reverse side of the sulphide and dated “1767/1967”. 2) Pistachio colored poinsettia with two buds, green leaves and stems on a cobalt blue ground. Signed with a signature and date cane “1970”. Six side facets and one top facet. SIZE: 2-1/2″ dia x 1-3/4″ t and 3″ dia x 2″ t. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museum’s acquisition fund. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-61979 (300-500)
