*SELDOM FOUND PARKER PHE GRADE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 213597. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ bbls, matted tapered concave rib with sgl silver sighting bead, 2-1/2″ chambers, IMP CYL/Full choke, dbl triggers and ejectors. Top rib marked “PARKER BROS.MAKERS.MERIDEN.CT.U.S.A. PARKER STEEL”. “0” size frame is engraved with minimal border scroll and “PARKER BROS” on each side. Mounted with dark fiddle back walnut, checkered pistol grip, Parker Brothers hard rubber gripcap, checkered butt, blank gold initial shield and checkered splinter forend. This SN is found in “Parker Gun Identification & Serialization” and is listed as PP grade, which is a PH with Parker steel bbls, ejectors, cap pistol grip and 20 ga with 26″ bbls. Bore diameter: left – .620, right – .620. Bore restrictions: left – .022, right – .006. Wall thickness: left – .031, right – .025. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 3 oz. LOP 14-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 75-80% thinning orig blue with wear at muzzle and side of chamber area, typical minor nicks and scratches and thinning the entire length of sides of both bbls. Receiver shows 10-15% orig color on each side with balance a silver patina. Trigger guard shows orig blue across bow and silvered to grip area. Stock is sound with worn checkering, a 2-1/4″ wooden spacer has been professionally added for length, stock carries hand worn patina finish with some orig varnish finish. Forend is sound with worn checkering, carrying a hand worn patina with traces of orig varnish. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety, strong ejectors, shiny bores with scattered, very minor, shallow pits. 4-40024 BDT30 (4,000-6,000)
