RESTORED PARKER DH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 61498. Cal. 12ga, 30″ bbls, matted, tapered, concave rib, dual ivory sighting beads,FULL/FULL chokes, extractors and dbl triggers. Top rib is marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL”. Bbl lug is stamped “2X” and matching “2” can be found on inside forend iron. Receiver is engraved in D quality, oval on each side with “PARKER BROS”, pointer on left, setter on right, trigger plate with 4 game birds and balance of engraving a fine foliate scroll. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, side panels with spear tip drop points, checkered pistol grip, sculpted hard rubber grip cap with checkered center, checkered butt with skeleton plate, blank gold oval and checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.751, right -.751. Bore restrictions: left -.032, right -.030. Wall thickness: left -.027, right -.029. Drop at heel:2-9/16″, drop at comb:1-1/2″. Weight: 7lbs. 9oz. LOP 13-7/8″. Book Parker Gun Identification and Serializationidentify as D3 Grade, D Grade with Damascus bbls, hammerless, extra bbls, capped pistol grip, 12ga with 28″ bbls. CONDITION: Extremely fine. New, unfired from Turnbull Restoration. Gun appears as it originally would have left the factory with proper restored finishes and the only marks are some tiny handling marks on left side of stock at buttplate.
