*STUNNING PARKER GH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 128304. Cal. 16ga, 28″ Damascus bbls, tapered, matted, concave rib, 2-9/16″ chambers, FULL/FULL chokes, extractors and dbl triggers. Top rib is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDAN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL”. The “O” frame is engraved in standard g style with right side oval with flying ducks and “PARKER BROS.” over top, left side with 2 game birds and “PARKER BROS.”, trigger plate with circle and 2 walking game birds, and balance a fine foliate scroll. Mounted with straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, Parker hard rubber grip cap, Parker dog’s head hard rubber buttplate, blank initial shield, and checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.663, right -.663. Bore restrictions: left -.023, right -..023. Wall thickness: left -.031, right -.027. Drop at heel:2-1/2″ , drop at comb:1-9/16″. Weight: 6lbs. 3oz. LOP 14-1/4″. The book Parker Gun Identification and Serialization identifies as grade D2, grade 2 with Damascus bbls, capped pistol grip, 16ga, 28″ bbl. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain nearly all of their fine original Damascus pattern with just a few minor, small nicks & scratches. Frame retains 90+% orig case colors, thinning and blending with silver patina across bottom and sharp edges. Stock is sound with very good checkering, some minor nicks & scratches, retains thinning original finish blended with hand-worn patina.
