WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40), SN 219346. Standard grade rifle with 24-1/4″ oct bbl, full magazine, ivory bead hunting front sight, modified semi-buckhorn rear sight and uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate with trap. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain about 50-60% thin blue and the receiver about 75% orig blue, strong and bright in the sheltered areas, thin and turning brown elsewhere. Lever retains traces of case colors in sheltered areas and the hammer about 75% muted case colors. Wood is sound and retains about 60% orig finish on the buttstock and about 25% on the forearm.
