“BERGER” TRANSIT WITH CASE, BOSTON, MASS. Circa 1930-1935. The transit fitted in original case, retaining paper labels from manufacturer “C.L. BERGER & SONS, INC.” The black-enameled dial marked with the company name and logo, and the serial number “20866”. Case retains original leather carrying handle and key. This lot is accompanied by two tripods, a tray mount, a 12-ft. surveyor’s pole and a folding board with geometric markings, 12 ft. total length, branded with the company name and logo “D. & L.E.
