AMERICAN VICTORIAN LEADED GLASS TRANSOM WINDOW. Late 19th century. The rectangular window designed with a central spade shape with scrolling leaftips, in clear ribbed frosted and beveled glass, the background of smoky quartz panels beneath a triple row of clear diamond-form panels interspaced with ruby glass jewels. SIZE: 19″ overall h. x 52″ l. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: All panels appear original, with some bowing in leaded area beneath spade form, two small panels with hairline crack. Otherwise very good. 9-93542 (800-1,200)
