FIFTEEN PIECE LIMOGES GAME SET. Set consisting of a 18-1/2” x 14” platter having two partridge and other game birds in a naturalistic setting, twelve 9-1/2” plates each decorated similarly and two 6” dishes decorated with pheasants. Heavy gold border, several pieces signed “Muville”. Bottom is marked with red “L.R. & L. mark (Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, Lehman circa 1920’s). Also a green star mark “Coiffe”. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. CONDITION: Very good. 9-28782 (1000-1500)
