BURGUN & SCHVERER FRENCH CAMEO WHEEL-CARVED VASE. Exceptional Burgun & Schverer vase is deeply wheel-carved with pastel yellow flowers, stems and leaves encircling the bulbous body and gourd-shaped neck of the vase. Background glass is translucent clambroth with martele texture. Flowers, stems and leaves are not only deeply carved, but beautifully detailed with one leaf snaking its way up near the top edge of the narrow mouth. Signed on the underside with fancy signature, Cross of Lorraine and thistle mark as well as “Verrerie d’art de Lorraine BS & Co depose”. SIZE: 7-1/2″ t x 6-1/2″ dia.
