RARE BLACK BANJO PLAYER “VICHY” AUTOMATON. Another spectacular piece of early French automata. Sitting upon a matching velvet covered pedestal, the minstrel’s hand strums banjo while tapping his foot as his head moves about to the music. SIZE: 23 1/4″ t. CONDITION: Eyes do not blink. Clothes are somewhat frayed and re-sewn in places.
