*DESIRABLE, LATE REMINGTON PARKER DHE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN WITH FACTORY VENT RIB. SN 242134. Cal. 20ga. 28″ bbls. Matted, tapered, vent rib, dual white sighting beads, Imp.Cyl chokes, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and sgl selective triggers. Left bbl flat has Remington date code OK (with a heart), which is July 1948. Left side of bbl lug is stamped D GRADE 20GA./FOR 2-3/4″ SHELLS. Serial number is stamped on bbl flat. The “0” size frame is standard, late, D Grade engraved with foliate, arabesque scrolls and setter on left side, pointer on right side, three pheasants on trigger plate and center of bottom engraved PARKER.Mounted with nicely figured walnut; checkered side panels with spear drop points; checkered pistol grip with Parker Bros. hard rubber grip cap; leather covered recoil pad; blank gold oval; and checkered beavertail forend. This serial number does not appear in Parker gun serialization identification book. Bore diameter: left -.618, right -.618. Bore restrictions: left -.008, right -(.007). Wall thickness: left -.042, right -.043. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″ . Weight: 7lbs. 1oz. LOP: 13-13/16″. CONDITION: Very fine. bbls retain nearly all of a fine factory quality rust blue finish. A few minor scratches and a faint rub from forend. Receiver retains 30-40% thinning orig case colors, strongest in rear and protected areas. Balance is a smooth, gray patina. Trigger guard retains virtually all of a fine, factory quality restored blue finish. Stock is sound with tiny hairline crack behind top tang, a few minor handling marks and retains virtually all of a fine, hand rubbed, restored finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple small, minor handling marks and retains virtually all of a fine, hand rubbed, restored finish.
