LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY FRENCH CHILD DOLL. Bisque head is incised “23 FRANCE S.F.B.J. PARIS 15”. She has brown glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, silk upper eye lashes, well painted eyebrows, open mouth with six upper teeth, and pierced ears. She is on her original fully jointed wood and composition body and has been appropriately costumed in the style of a 1900 French child. She wears an antique honey colored human hair wig, brown leather shoes, and a later lady’s hat made of old antique feathers. SIZE: 31-1/2″ (80 cm). CONDITION: Overall very good, body retains original finish with only slight wear to the paint. 1-8049 (1,300-1,700)
