The D-form hinged top rotating on the conforming frieze, each corner and central panel mounted with a six-pointed reeded star and gadrooned brass edge, raised on four reeded pedestals, acanthus-carved and ring-turned, joined to the base with star mounts raised on outswept reeded legs joined by an acanthus-carved reeded stretcher. The whole on brass-capped clawfoot casters. In the manner of Duncan Phyfe. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h. x 34-3/4″ w. x 17″ d. PROVENANCE: From a Vassalboro, Maine Family Estate.
