ALFRED ARTHUR DE BRUNO NEWVILLE (French, 1851-1941) PLAYFUL KITTENS. Oil on canvas interior scene shows two kittens, one atop a red upholstered stool, the other beside. Shown against a green draped and brown wall background. Signed lower left. Housed in what appears to be its original partial gilt molded wood frame. SIZE: 10” x 8”. CONDITION: Two scuff areas missing paint on right side of still, faint stretcher lines. Otherwise very good. 9-28966 (800-1000)
