*LAW ENFORCEMENT USED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 10-5 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spcl. SN C967769. Blue finish with 2″ bbl, fixed sights and 2-pc Mexican sterling silver grips with gold Aztec calendar at the bottom on each side, a raised gold Aztec Indian symbol and a gold diamond inscribed with the initials “JCH” on each side. A tooled black leather belt holster by Ball of Fort Worth, TX accompanies it. It is also accompanied by a letter dated 5-18-04 from Raymond C. Howell stating that this revolver was carried by his father, John C. Howell, as a constable of Carter County, Oklahoma. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Retains 92-93% orig factory finish overall with muzzle & sharp edge wear and holster wear on the sideplate. Grips are very fine and the holster is good.
