HAND PAINTED TABLE LAMP. Wonderful hand painted shade has nicely executed farmyard scene with buildings, trees and flock of sheep. Scene is done against a cream colored background with amber shading to pink sky. Shade rests atop a stamped metal base with stylized floral design around the foot and deeply impressed design surrounding the body of the base. Lamp is finished with a two light cluster. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Overall height is 22″. CONDITION: Some very minor chips to fitter, otherwise very good to excellent. 9-28801 (500-1000)
