*PARKER BROTHERS DH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 88402. Cal. 20ga. 26″ bbls, matted, tapered, concave rib, single ivory sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers. CYL./IMP.CYL. chokes, dbl triggers and extractors, top rib is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDAN. CONN. TITANIC STEEL”. The “O” frame is standard D grade engraved with pointer on left side, setter on right, four game birds on trigger plate, ribbon marked “PARKER BROS.” on each side with balance a fine foliate arabesque scroll. Mounted with streaky straight grain walnut, side panels with spear point droppers, checkered straight grip, checkered skeleton buttplate, blank initial oval, checkered splintered forend. Bore diameter: left -.625, right -.630. Bore restrictions: left -.013, right -.008. Wall thickness: left -.018, right -.025. Drop at heel:2-7/8″ , drop at comb:1-3/4″ . Weight:5 lbs. 15 oz. LOP 13-5/8″. Book Parker Gun Identification and Serialization identify as grade T13, D grade with Titanic steel bbls, no extras, straight grip, 20ga., 26″ bbls. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain 98% of a fine factory quality restored blue finish with a few minor nicks & scratches. Receiver retains 20-25% orig colors with balance blending with silver & brown patina. Trigger guard retains nearly all of fine factory quality restored blue finish. Stock is sound with nicely repointed checkering, a couple of which have been dented. A few minor nicks & handling marks and retains a fine professional oil finish. Forend is sound with repointed checkering, some shallow nicks & dents, and retains a fine restored oil finish.
