*COLT FRONTIER SIX-SHOOTER SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 188755. 1899 production with scarce 4-3/4” bbl, 2-line address with roll marked “COLT FRONTIER SIX-SHOOTER” on left side. Left side of frame has 2-line patent dates and the rampant Colt in a circle. It has rampant Colt hard rubber grips numbered to another revolver. Bottom of bbl has a tiny “44” under base pin. CONDITION: Good to very good, no orig finish remains being a worn, dark, mottled silver/brown patina with fine pitting on all metal. Grips show heavy wear but are sound and fit fairly good with some shrinkage. Strong bore with light to moderate pitting. 4-30688 (1,250-2,250)
