PHOTOGRAPHS: A group of photographs of the extended Maxfield Parrish family including Maxfield, Stephen, Dillwyn, Lydia, & Maxfield Jr. including beach scenes with a young Max Jr. & other family. OTHER: Included are photographs of Sue Lewin, including one posing for the Florentine Fete mural as illustrated on page 34 of Alma Gilbert’s autographed book “The Make Believe World of Maxfield Parrish and Sue Lewin”; Photograph of Sue Lewin in a white dress; Other family photographs including children & photographs of the Lewin & Daniel families. Some postcards & Vermont related memorabilia of general nature. NOTE: Maxfield Parrish Jr., the celebrated American artist, lived in Cornish, New Hampshire at his home, “The Oaks”, and married Lydia Austin in 1895. Sue Lewin started working at The Oaks when she was 16 years old and became a model for many of Maxfield’s works. She stayed at The Oaks and was joined there by her sisters Annie & Emily.
