LARGE OLD SALESMAN SAMPLE BOOK FOR CLOTHING. Produced for Scotch Woolen Mills of Chicago for 1916. This large book is filled with wonderful old colored lithography of men in various Scotch woolen suits. On the opposite page of the lithographed image are various swatches of wool in different textures and patterns. There are some great images in here and would be wonderful framed items. One plate depicts the Scotch major League Baseball uniforms with the Scotch baseball team posing. Another depicts a group of young men holding baseball bats, gloves, etc. promoting the boys Knickerbockers suit. Another depicts two dapper gentlemen in suits playing golf. Neat old advertising piece. SIZE: Approx. 22″ x 17″. CONDITION: The cover of the book is worn and faded, material swatches have some moth damage and some of the pages have some staining.
