TWO DESIRABLE MARX BOXED PLAY SETS. 1) Wells Fargo boxed train set; No. 54742, Copyright Overland Productions Inc. TV related train is based on Jim Hardie’s “Tales of Wells Fargo” starring Dale Robertson. A great character toy that is well marked. Train and coal car are plastic and tin, passenger cars are all tin. Complete with original transformer, automatic uncoupling unit and liquid smoke! Original box has image of Dale Robertson. 2) Marx Medieval Castle Fort; No. 4709. Mostly tin fort features plastic figures, tin cannons and various accessories. Complete with original instruction sheet. Original box contains Marx unopened paper bags full of original contents. SIZE: Castle Fort box is 27″ l. CONDITION: Both Marx sets appear complete and unassembled. Overall lot is near excellent. 1-9290 (500-1,000)
