*GREENER GRADE DH75 DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 69421. Beautiful little upland shotgun with 27” bbls, swamped concave tapered matted rib with single bead and the maker’s name & address. It has single selective trigger & ejectors. It has a dbl scalloped boxlock frame with about 90% coverage very fine foliate arabesque pattern engraving. The maker’s name is on each side. The fences are dbl scalloped and the engraving extends about an inch up over the chambers. The bbls have dbl lump with rib extension and Greener cross-bolt and are proofed 2-3/4” with 1 oz. load. It is mounted in a very nicely figured French walnut stock with checkered straight wrist 14-3/4” over a serrated butt. The forearm has matching grain with black semi-schnable tip. The stock has an initial plate engraved “JT McM”. Weight 5 lbs. 8.0 oz. Drop at the heel 2-1/4”, at the comb 1-5/16” with slight cast off. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain about 98% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains 97-98% brilliant case colors with light edge wear and some thinning on the fences. Trigger guard retains about 95% original blue. Wood is sound with minor handling & use marks and retains most of its original oil finish. Brilliant shiny bores. 4-50359 JR893 (6,000-10,000)
