Two large 12″ wood and composition Black Folk Art Dancers above wooden box containing windup mechanism for dancing and separate mechanism for Music Box. 19th century jointed Dancers are primitive in design and clothing. Glass eyes, horsehair Wig and lead Feet. SIZE: Base: 6″w x10 1/2″l, total height 17″. CONDITION: Original clothed Figures are good. Top of box has separated not allowing for proper alignment with Dancers. Windup mechanism for movement is skittish. Music box working properly. 1-26841 (3,000-4,000)
