TWO MARX SERVICE STATIONS & SEVEN MISC. TOYS. 1) No. 3459. Earlier tin lithograph service station with lithographed accessories and plastic vehicles and figures. Sealed Marx paper bags full of gas station accessories. Complete with instruction sheet. 2) Marx Modern Service Station; No. 3436 in original sealed box. Later version features plastic cars, attendants, pumps and grease rack. Tin lithographed base. 3) Tom & Dick Rail Road Hand Car. Japan. All tin wind-up handcar with figures pumping iron. 4) Battery Operated Shore Patrol by J.T.Y., Japan. Highly lithographed police boat with guns. 5) Electrical Emergency Service Car. Unusual 1961 Cadillac station wagon toy with bizarre automatic up and down ladder, blinking roof light. Remote control with steering. 6) Ohlsson & Rice Inc. gas powered midget racer (no engine). White #55 diecast vintage race car showing handbrake, pump gas canister and four-cylinder exhaust. 7) Cast iron mechanical payphone bank Circa 1920. Wall phone with original wooden earpiece and crank with bell ringing action. 8) Chein wind-up Mechanical Rocket Ride in original box. No. 400. Carnival ride is Chein’s largest toy. All tin toy spins with swing-out rockets and celluloid propellers. Colorful base shows ringmaster, hot dog vendor and more. 9) Chein wind-up Roller Coaster in original box. No. 275. Carnival toy also shows vendors, shooting gallery and children at play on base. Missing coaster cars. SIZE: Sealed service station box is 27″ l. CONDITION: Service station with opened box appears complete and unassembled. Sealed service station set is as new. Boxed Japanese toys average very good to excellent.
