SET OF EIGHTEEN BUTTERFLY DECORATED PLATES BY SEVRES. These outstanding plates have a white blank with different butterfly on each plate. Outside with gold border and swags of blue flowers in between hanging red flowers. Two circles of red flowers surround the butterfly. Blue Sevres mark to base. Hand initialed on back “C.D.”. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (FW Woolworth Dept. Store).SIZE: 9-1/4” dia. CONDITION: Five with bottom rim chips, one with repair, two with chips on upper rim.
