*PARKER DHE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 234517. Built on an “O” frame with 26” bbls, choked MOD/IMP CYL, with tapered matted rib & single bead. It has beautiful shell grain walnut with checkered splinter forearm, semi-pistol grip stock with teardrop side panels, 14-1/4” over a Parker dog’s head buttplate. It has dbl triggers & ejectors. The receiver is beautifully engraved in typical “D” grade patterns with extra flourishes. It has a pointer on the left side and a pointer on the right side with four pheasants on the floor plate, all surrounded with foliate arabesque patterns and “Parker Bros.” in a ribbon on each side. The fences have an engraved ruffled band on each side. The stock has a silver initial plate engraved “BPV”. Weight 5 lbs. 14.1 oz. Drop at the heel 2-7/8”, at the comb 1-11/16”. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain about 98% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains virtually all of its original case colors, slightly muted, brilliant in the sheltered areas. Wood is sound and retains most of a fine professionally restored finish with light handling & use marks and a scratch or two. Brilliant shiny bores.
