*SCARCE COLT MILITARY MODEL 1902 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. SN 38779. Cal. 38 ACP. Standard production with blue finish, 6″ bbl, fixed sights & usual slide markings with slide lock & a stud & swivel in left heel. It has case colored hammer with spur. Accompanied by an original all blue magazine. Fitted with rampant Colt, Colt embossed hard rubber grips. About 18,000 of these early Colt autos were produced in years 1902-29. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Overall retains about 97% strong glossy orig Colt blue with only light holster wear at muzzle, mostly on left side. Elsewhere there is faint sharp edge wear & a small thin spot on front strap. Hammer retains most of its orig case colors. Grips are crisp showing only very light wear. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-33490 JR174 (2,500-4,000)
