FRENCH BRASS REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH ALARM. Late 19th/early 20th Century. Probably Lewis Fernier. The brass case with beaded edge and carrying handle, raised on a molded base with bracket feet and fitted with beveled glass panels on all sides having a silvered dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring, above a subsidiary alarm dial. The brass movement with twin barrel movement and single striking coil with two hammers, the backplate engraved “LF” with the serial number “1493”. SIZE: 6-1/4″ overall h x 3″ w x 2-3.4: d. CONDITION: Case very good overall, works in need of cleaning and repair. 9-95742 (600-900)
