EXTREMELY RARE MODOC CAP PISTOL. M16.1. Circa 1890. Maker unknown. This nickel-plated figural Indian head pistol is the only known example and the one pictured in the Logan & Best book. Cap explodes when trigger strikes Indian’s chin. SIZE: 4-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains 95% original nickel plating. MC 1-4265 (1,400-1,600)
