32″ S.F.B.J. CHILD DOLL. Circa 1900 doll with head incised “24 FRANCE SFBJ Paris 14″ with open mouth and six upper teeth, blue glass sleep eyes, with painted lower lashes, the original silk upper lashes, nicely feathered eyebrows and pierced ears. She is on her original French wood and composition fully jointed body, wears a newer white cotton and lace overlay dress made of old material in style of the period, wears newer fishnet stockings and white cloth baby boots. The wig is light brown human hair with long ringlet curls covered by an antique straw hat with four flowers. SIZE: 31-1/2” (80cm). CONDITION: Bisque quality excellent; there is a scratch in the back of the head but only on the outside. Body is in overall good condition but has typical paint peeling at the joints. 1-7932 (2,000-3,000)
